Antique Weimer Era Germany Bronze/Brass Notebook Case ~ Brass Scoring Case with Johan Faber Memorandum Pencil
An exquisite late-1800s German ornate bronze and brass notebook case, handcrafted by Erhard & Söhne during the Weimar era.
~ This Victorian-inspired piece features stunning embossed detailing with animal motifs and decorative studs across the front face. The dual-arm rotating mechanism allows the ornate brass top—where paper rests—to spin freely around the brass backplate for convenient use and compact storage.
~ A dedicated pencil holder sits along the side of the backplate, and the case arrives with its original Johann Faber Memorandum #2 pencil, complete with brass top.
~ Marked "Germany" on the edge with maker's mark on the reverse. Good working condition with beautiful age patina throughout. Measures 6 1/8 by 4 inches when closed.
~ A stunning functional antique for the serious collector.
